Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Development Head China to lead our Medical team in China. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative Clinical Development Plans for projects from Early development through to full lifecycle management with a focus on China.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop local strategy, implement and lead the delivery of Clinical Development Plans as part of an Asset Development Strategy for projects from Early development through to full lifecycle management with a focus on China.
  • Closely liaise with other development colleagues to ensure that regulatory flexibility and payer requirements are built into development plans at an early stage to deliver speedy approval.
  • Effectively manage allocated budget, standard operating procedures, talent and professional development.
  • Represent UCB to external stakeholders (HCPs/ Health Authorities/Partners/Industry Associations) in China as a UCB Clinical Development Expert as necessary.
Requirements
  • Medical Degree (M.D.)
  • Global/regional clinical development experience and proven track record as a (global) leader in biopharmaceutical industry for at least 5-7 years.
