About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Development professional to lead our China Clinical Development team. As the Head of Clinical Development China, you will be responsible for developing and implementing local clinical development strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and collaborating with global colleagues to drive the success of our clinical development programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement local clinical development strategies, aligned with UCB's global strategic plan, to drive the success of our clinical development programs in China.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including clinical development, medical affairs, and regulatory, to ensure effective execution of clinical development plans.
  • Collaborate with global colleagues to ensure alignment and consistency in clinical development strategies and plans.
  • Represent UCB in China, as a clinical development expert, to external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, health authorities, partners, and industry associations.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (M.D.)
  • Global/regional clinical development experience and proven track record as a leader in the biopharmaceutical industry for at least 5-7 years.
