Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and experienced leader to spearhead the strategic Clinical Pharmacology initiatives for our development projects in China. This role involves crafting, managing, and executing strategies to address the growing portfolio and regulatory demands in the region, which encompasses small molecules, antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, bispecifics, and device bridging across various therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and oversee the comprehensive Clinical Pharmacology strategy for China, ensuring alignment with both departmental and portfolio objectives.
  • Establish a strong presence and influence as a scientific and strategic leader in Clinical Pharmacology.
  • Build effective relationships with local health authorities and academic leaders to facilitate regulatory discussions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various functions to ensure cohesive support for clinical development.
  • Mentor and guide Clinical Pharmacology staff on evolving regulatory guidelines and practices.
  • Provide expert consultation on development strategies and regulatory interactions for the China portfolio.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in pharmaceutical or life sciences, complemented by over 8 years of experience in Clinical Pharmacology. A demonstrated history of scientific achievement and a thorough understanding of the R&D process and regulatory landscape in China are essential. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin are required, along with the ability to engage effectively with health authorities and senior leaders.
