Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution: Under the overall direction of the Corporate Sustainability & Climate Change Lead, assist in the technical execution of climate consultancy projects for both private and public sector clients across various economic sectors. The primary focus will be on areas such as low carbon economy transitions and related risk and opportunity assessments in accordance with TCFD, estimating financial impacts, developing business resilience plans, analyzing energy markets, assessing low carbon options, and formulating low carbon/net-zero strategies. Project Management: Serve as a project manager, coordinating an internal team of ERM consultants and external specialists, maintaining communication with clients, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of outputs within budget constraints. Business Development: Support senior sellers and account directors/managers in identifying and pursuing potential business opportunities with both existing and new clients. Assist in developing and pitching proposals for clients, including methodological approaches, task descriptions, budgets, and team structures. Marketing and Thought Leadership: Aid the Corporate Sustainability & Climate Change Lead in formulating regional strategies for climate advisory services, marketing plans, and materials; engage in marketing and communication initiatives related to climate advisory, including preparing and co-leading external workshops, webinars, and learning sessions, as well as developing thought leadership materials and communication pieces for a broad audience.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Energy, Economics, Climate Change, Sustainability, Finance, or a related field; Relevant experience in clean energy, energy analytics, climate change, low carbon options assessment, and financial and macroeconomic analysis; Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights and recommendations; Comprehensive understanding of low carbon energy transitions, associated risks, and drivers affecting key economic sectors and various stakeholders; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex and technical information in an accessible manner; Capacity to work both collaboratively and independently, with minimal supervision; Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain flexibility, and meet deadlines; Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online communication tools; Fluency in English and Mandarin; Candidates with varying levels of experience are encouraged to apply.
