Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Director to lead our outerwear and apparel development team in China. This is a fantastic opportunity for an innovative and strategic thinker who can drive creative excellence and business results.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing creative strategies that extend the adidas Originals apparel collection for the China market. This includes leading the creative development of concepts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring end-to-end creative excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute creative strategies that align with business objectives and meet the needs of the Chinese market.
  • Lead the creative development of concepts, including concept design, technical pack creation, and sample development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Design, Marketing, and Product Development, to ensure holistic storytelling and effective communication.
  • Evaluate and refine creative strategies to maximize market and consumer relevancy.
  • Review and approve production stages of creative execution to ensure high-quality output.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the fashion industry, staying up-to-date on trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate level Design education or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in the Sporting Goods/Fashion Industry or Design on a managerial level.
  • Proven experience with the entire design process, from project scope and time planning to pre-press processes.
  • Strong visual conceptualization and verbal presentation skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of apparel products, including fabrication, material, trimming, pattern, and graphics.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant design software.
