About the Role:

As a key member of the Abbott team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the retail sector. Your primary focus will be on setting and achieving sales objectives, building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, and leading a high-performing team of sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive sales growth and market share in the retail sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
  • Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations.
  • Manage and optimize sales processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of sales team members.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to drive business growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • 5+ years of team management experience, with a strong focus on leadership and development.
  • Excellent sales and marketing skills, with a strong understanding of the retail sector.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on results and achievement.
