Job Title: Accounting Manager for Greater China

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accounting Manager to join our team in Greater China. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Greater China finance department and accounting services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise the daily operations of the Greater China finance department and accounting services.
  • Manage the monthly financial close process, account reconciliation process, and (variance) analysis reports.
  • Statutory reporting in line with local Chinese GAAP.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal teams to deliver results.
  • Cooperate with external auditors to ensure successful financial and tax audits and to ensure compliance.
  • Improve systems and procedures for financial reporting and controls.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Finance & Accounting team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience with accounting, finance, or related areas.
  • 3+ years of experience as an accounting manager or team leader.
  • Very good English written and verbal skills.
  • Excellent and respectful interpersonal communication skills (team player).
  • Excellent leadership skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Be able to work efficiently under time pressure.
  • Good skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint as well as Accounting ERP systems (preferably Workday/Blackline).
  • Financial analytics experience.
  • Understanding of local Accounting Standards/GAAP and/or US GAAP.
  • Experience in audit and/or SOX controls is preferred.
