Job Title: Leasing Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Leasing Manager to join our team in Shanghai. As a key member of our expansion team, you will be responsible for finding top locations for new stores and ensuring the full potential of our geographic region is mapped and added to the roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create growth strategy by developing and maintaining the road map for the geographic region
  • Ensure full potential in geographic region is mapped and added to the roadmap
  • Secure competition is continuously mapped
  • Create and follow up on pipeline
  • Enable the optimization of each deal's selling, location, and profitability
  • Recommend the full business case in terms of fit with market strategy, location requirements, commercial idea, configuration of space, economic, and legal terms
  • Coordinate with other functions before finalizing negotiations
  • Facilitate the deal through the legal and construction process
  • Ensure the portfolio is commercially competitive in the geographic area
  • Negotiate lease actions for existing stores
  • Look for ways to improve the portfolio, keeping in mind long-term impact

Requirements

  • Bachelor or master's degree in Real Estate, Business/Economics, or similar
  • Leasing skills and good legal understanding
  • Strategic planning and long-term vision
  • Planning & Organizing
  • Multi-tasker with strong prioritization skills
  • Remain calm and positive in difficult situations and under pressure
  • Balance between long-term and short-term planning
  • Good financial understanding
  • Results-driven
  • Can understand, read, speak, and write in English
  • Knowledge in MS Office, more specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and MS Teams
  • At least 5 years of working experience from leasing, controlling, and/or real estate, preferably within the retail industry
