Job Opportunity: Renewable Power Investment Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Renewable Power Investment Analyst to join our team at Brookfield Asset Management. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for assisting with the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities in the renewable power and transition space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in targeting and evaluating new investment opportunities;
  • Conduct financial modeling and company/industry research to assess potential investments;
  • Plan and complete due diligence tasks, including asset risk evaluation, DCF valuation analysis, and project financing plan;
  • Coordinate with operational and business development teams on various development initiatives and transactions;
  • Research industry opportunities to identify key value drivers and assess their impact on transactions and business assumptions;
  • Prepare high-quality investment committee presentation materials and supporting documentation.

Requirements:

  • Economic or business designation with previous M&A experience, including business development, financial analysis, transaction execution, and corporate finance;
  • 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, restructuring, private equity, renewable power investments, or other relevant areas;
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential;
  • High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong financial modeling skills.
