About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Marel. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in work consultation meetings to discuss production methods and processes.
  • Make recommendations to the organization on production methods and processes.
  • Contribute knowledge and expertise in production, assembly, and other relevant technologies.
  • Focus on optimization of material flow processes and operation processes on manufacturing cells.
  • Monitor and improve quality where required.
  • Provide feedback to internal customers to improve the internal production process, design process, ECR process, and cost reduction.
  • Manage and optimize operational procedures, Bill Of Material (BOM), and internal cost price.
  • Manage documentation regarding manufacturing process descriptions and engineering procedures.
  • Participate in decision-making about operational procedures within the department.
  • Set priorities for activities in projects and for one's own activities within the set parameters.
  • Fulfill completion and acceptance criteria for regular fabrication and/or assembly process.
  • Participate in investment projects regarding technologies.
  • Identify source causes of quality issues and implement solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant education.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of ERP and PLM software, lean manufacturing is a plus.
  • Experience of leading projects is a plus.
  • Knowledge of production and assembly methods, product innovation, and logistical processes is a plus.
  • Command of both verbal and written English.
  • Experience with and comfort working in multi-cultural, multi-discipline organization is an advantage.
