Siemens Ltd., China is a leading global technology company with a strong presence in the region. We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team as a Head of EHS Siemens Real Estate China.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled EHS expert to lead our EHS team in China. As a Head of EHS Siemens Real Estate China, you will be responsible for driving our EHS initiatives within Siemens and beyond. You will collaborate with our regional management team and other support functions to achieve our EHS policy objectives.
Responsibilities
- You will adapt, promote, and implement global EHS programs/initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
- You will contribute to/support/lead projects of Global SRE EHS Roadmap.
- You will ensure an adequate competence management and training system for EHS-related competences.
- You will ensure SRE EHS contribution to the EHS Management System and drive continuous improvement for the Country organization.
- You will plan, implement, and follow up the site audit/assessment/inspections program of construction and maintenance projects as well as FM/FS activities.
- You will ensure that applicable statutory requirements are identified and complied with.
- You will contribute to analyzing stakeholder EHS requirements.
- You will ensure implementation of EHS related risk management in processes and projects.
- You will ensure and control EHS related reporting as to local and Siemens requirements.
- You will ensure adequate EHS related communication towards internal & external stakeholder/ authorities.
- You will provide a forum for practice sharing amongst EHS practitioners across organizational units.
- You will apply and verify implementation of ISO principles and requirements.
- You will support others in the use of EHS guidelines, instructions, practices and processes.
Your Qualifications
- You have deep knowledge about applicable requirements and regulations in a broad range of EHS topic areas and know when and which EHS experts need to be called in.
- You are able to Support RE Project Managers with implementation of relevant EHS guidelines and be familiar with regional and Siemens regulations for Fire safety and Environmental Protection.
- You have good understanding of the processes behind the tool and is able to coach or train others.
- You are Expert in EHS Assessments of RAM and LM-Organization including frequent inspections of construction sites and locations.
- You have experience as lead auditor with good oral English will be preferred.
- You possess Advanced Incident & crisis Management skills.
- You have Strong cross functional communication skills and team player.
- You have Experience in developing and presenting of training concepts.

Salary Information
The estimated salary for this position is between $120,000-$180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This figure is calculated based on industry standards and market rates in China.
