As a member of the Global Service team:

The Service team is composed of skilled and dynamic professionals.

Key Responsibilities: What will you do as a Field Service Engineer?

  • Execute the Customer Support Policy for OEM End Users. Oversee, maintain, and support company systems in the field.
  • Assist OEM partners and End Users in accordance with warranty and service support agreements.
  • Provide maintenance, support, and training for all users, including OEM and End User personnel (training is typically conducted by a dedicated engineer).
  • Ensure accurate reporting of all customer support activities as outlined by the Territory Service Manager/Customer Support Manager.
  • Manage the company's parts inventory relevant to this position, maintaining stock levels per company policy.
  • Support the integration of new equipment, enhancements, and upgrades.
  • Offer feedback to headquarters based on customer interactions.

What qualities will lead to your success in this role?

You will gain metrology knowledge and professional skills, with opportunities to take on leadership roles while managing customer sites.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in the Semiconductor industry is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, team-oriented, and service-focused.
  • Willingness to work shifts and provide overseas support as required.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Completed training or studies in chemistry or natural sciences.
  • Solid PC skills and IT proficiency.
  • Understanding of electrical engineering principles.
  • Experience in clean room environments, ideally as a service technician in field service.
  • Fluent in business English.
  • Enjoy working with demanding clients on-site.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong service mindset.
  • Eagerness to learn complex technologies.
  • Flexibility and a high willingness to travel internationally (70-80%).
