At Element Solutions Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team in the APAC region.

Job Overview

This role will be responsible for planning and coordinating regional marketing communications activities, including marketing campaigns, digital channels, email marketing, advertising, media relations, promotions, customer events, and tradeshows.

The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and be self-motivated with a creative approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to marketing communications development, resource allocation, and execution of product launches.
  • Coordinate all communications and activities with domestic and global business units to deliver consistent messages, brands, and company positioning.
  • Serve as an outreach coordinator for activities with professional organizations, industry editors, universities, etc.
  • Manage agencies within the region for writing and design of articles and website content. Manage in-house development projects: newsletters, technical bulletins, media releases, advertising copy, feature stories, application stories, internet site content, and promotional materials.
  • Operate and manage the MAES WeChat accounts and support for other social media platforms. Adapt global content for local conception and optimize content for greater customer engagement and employee utilization.
  • Generate reports based on established KPIs for tracking and analysis.
  • Work with sales partners to ensure they have the necessary information to promote and sell MAES products and services.
  • Contribute to ShowPad content management for the APAC region.
  • Manage translation support for different MAES sales teams in APAC.
Requirements
  • Three to five years' experience in marketing communications.
  • Mandarin as a first language is essential for this role. English should also be well spoken and written.
  • Experience in planning and execution of marketing events.
  • Experience in operation and management of WeChat and other domestic social media platforms.
  • Understand copywriting and advertising for both traditional and digital media.
  • A self-starter individual with the ability to assess business and marketing needs, and drive actions to completion.
  • Flexibility to work with global teams virtually and with multiple organizations.
  • Good knowledge of InDesign, AI, and Photoshop software is a plus.

Salary and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation ($80,000 - $110,000 per annum) and benefits packages, including health insurance, PTO/holidays, and more.
