About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to lead our project team in Shanghai. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for supporting local engineering activities and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive projects forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support screw feeder local engineering related activity as main contact point between Division project team and ICA.
  • Responsible for screw feeding product in-house testing and validation.
  • Support field test activity and provide engineering and basic design ideas to the project team.
  • Collaborate with local sourcing team to speed up sourcing of prototype parts and supplier validation.
  • Continuously gather customer inputs on technical needs and coming changes in production environment.
  • Lead local adaptations for specific screw size and help investigate how our SW would integrate with MTB backend systems.
  • Coordinate cross-functional team for different activities mentioned above.

Requirements

  • Technical academic degree with mechanical engineering.
  • 5 years mechanical design experience.
  • 2-3 years application knowledge around automation in consumer electronics industry.
  • Hands-on experience managing small development projects independently.
  • Design or application experience of screw-feeder.
  • Familiarity with electronic product assembly process and screw feeding technology is highly preferred.
