Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Quality Assurance Manager for our Amazon Global Logistics Technology (AGLT) team. This role is pivotal in developing comprehensive systems and products that enhance cross-border transportation and logistics services managed by Amazon Global Logistics (AGL).

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Oversee the complete software quality assurance process, including the design of testing frameworks and tools for both QA and production environments.
  • Gather and analyze diverse data to support advanced quality metrics and manage various quality-related initiatives.
  • Provide support to business and development teams through the management of quality metrics reporting and the creation of ad-hoc testing tools.
Team Collaboration

This role requires a hands-on manager who can effectively coordinate multiple testing efforts across various development teams. The ideal candidate will implement policies and processes that enhance software quality.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years in quality assurance engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing quality assurance teams.
  • Proven experience in managing both manual and automation testers.
  • Familiarity with testing web technologies and backend services.
  • Strong background in reviewing test plans, test cases, and testing outcomes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in preparing quality metrics and collaborating with stakeholders to establish and achieve quality objectives.
  • Proven track record of transitioning QA programs from manual processes to automation.
