Regional Clinical Scientist

Job Description

Philips is seeking a Regional Clinical Scientist to join their Innovation group of Philips Image Guided Therapy – Systems (IGT-S). In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your clinical and technical knowledge to shape the future of minimally invasive procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide feedback and input on the roadmap towards Philips’ long-term clinical strategy.
  • Engage in several clinical areas, including Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Interventional Pulmonology, Neuro-vascular Interventions, Interventional Oncology, and Surgery.
  • Develop and maintain a regional network of clinical Key Opinion Leaders (KOL's) and drive ideation and feasibility studies on future technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with clinical, regulatory, market, and design trends and developments through clinical workflow analysis, Medical Advisory Boards, and conference participation.
  • Manage clinical studies for testing and validating concepts and coordinate investigator-initiated clinical studies.
  • Contribute to the development of operational knowledge within Philips to support marketing efforts and increase market awareness of new technology solutions.

Requirements

  • You have an MD, Masters and/or Ph.D. degree in biomedical sciences or a related field.
  • You have experience in running clinical investigations and establishing and managing a network of KOLs and HCPs.
  • You possess strong leadership, creative, and analytical skills, as well as a proactive entrepreneurial mindset and excellent communication skills.
