As a Senior Medical Imaging Research Scientist at Siemens Shanghai Medical Equipment Ltd., you will be part of a team of over 71,000 dedicated Healthineers in more than 70 countries.

The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in an engineering or science field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or Applied Math, with a strong background in Deep Learning and experience in building medical imaging solutions.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing algorithms in Deep Learning for Medical Image Analysis problems, working on large-scale data sets and real-world problems, and collaborating with our Business lines to understand requirements and deliver successful AI solutions.

You will also conduct data analysis of clinical studies with clinical partners and contribute to the development of cutting-edge medical imaging technologies.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with international teams, and leverage your expertise to drive innovation in medical imaging.

To succeed in this position, you should have:

  • A Ph.D. in an engineering or science field with a focus on Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or related areas
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and C++
  • Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other deep learning frameworks
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop innovative solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
