Position Summary:

The IT Solutions Engineer is accountable for the implementation and upkeep of IT application systems, including CMS ERP, CMS+ MES, IOT4.0 integration systems, and BP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facilitate the software implementation of IT application systems across various companies, such as CMS ERP, CMS+ MES, IOT4.0 integration systems, and BP systems.
  2. Provide maintenance support for IT application software, ensuring comprehensive third-level operational support, including software process, data, operational, configuration, permission, OS, and database issues.
  3. Collaborate with local IT departments to establish their IT application support teams, conduct key user training, manage process changes, oversee software customization, and track issues.
  4. Understand all business processes related to IT application systems, identify deficiencies, and propose enhancements to ensure high efficiency and productivity.
  5. Monitor the daily operational status of IT software systems in use, establish operational standards, and conduct periodic audits to support companies in meeting these standards.
  6. Gather new requirements from various departments and align them with MAGNA group IT expectations to propose effective IT solutions.
  7. Stay informed about cutting-edge IT software technologies and explore their integration into daily operations to enhance efficiency.
  8. Research and disseminate knowledge of new system functionalities within the organization.
  9. Deliver training on application system software.
  10. Identify areas for improvement and cost reduction by analyzing system bottlenecks and inefficient resource usage, and implement solutions.
  11. Manage relationships with all relevant IT solution suppliers and support providers.
  12. Commit to continuous improvement and workplace safety.
  13. Demonstrate strong teamwork and adherence to TS16949 standards.
  14. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant IT field.
  2. Over 4 years of experience in IT software-related roles.
  3. Familiarity with the complete processes of ERP or MES systems, with experience leading the implementation of at least two medium to large-scale projects.
  4. Experience in system integration.
  5. Proficient in database usage and maintenance, with strong SQL skills.
  6. Some experience in software development, preferably with industry PLC development.
  7. Experience maintaining Windows servers, Unix/Linux systems, VMware, storage, and backup systems.
  8. Knowledge of networking and cabling.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  10. Strong English communication skills.
  11. Demonstrated responsibility, communication skills, execution ability, and self-learning capacity.
  12. Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  13. Understanding of company policies and procedures.
