About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data-Driven Supply Chain Transformation Specialist to join our team at Corning. As a key member of our digital transformation team, you will lead the development and implementation of business analytics and supply chain solutions to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analysis and development of business requirements for digital transformation projects, working closely with functional stakeholders to identify business needs and priorities.
  • Manage projects / programs and initiatives to deliver required capabilities, working cross-functionally within the business and with IT/external suppliers.
  • Leverage corporate and regional capabilities, initiatives, and expertise to enhance supply chain analytics, business intelligence, and reporting capabilities.
  • Understand supply planning processes and needs, working closely with business users and being a business representative to collaborate with internal IT teams and vendors for process improvement, new business functionality turn-on, and ecosystem alignment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical, Business, or IT, or Master's in Statistics, Data Science, Business, or Supply Chain Management/Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of analytics and data analysis experience.
  • Project management experience, with PM certification or CPIM certification preferred.

Desired Skills:

  • Strategic thinking to align digital transformation initiatives with business goals and objectives.
  • Familiarity with digital technologies such as cloud computing, AI, machine learning, GenAI, data analytics, and IoT.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to relay complex technical information to non-technical team members and stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading global teams, including matrix assignments, project management skills in financial, schedule, risk management, and issue resolution.
  • Innovation and creative thinking to overcome challenges and drive transformation.
  • Global work experience, working across regions, cultures, and virtual teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Able to use and develop analytics and digital tools, such as Power BI, programming skills in Python or C#, and GenAI prompt.
  • Skills and experience in end-to-end supply chain (Plan, Source, Make, and Deliver) or development and engineering, or finance.
  • Ability to manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
  • Familiarity with supply capacity planning, network design, and supply planning tools deployment experience, e.g., SAP IBP, O9, Kinaxis, Arkeiva.

Soft Skills:

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Ability to work under high time pressure.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business environments and technology landscapes.
