Job Description:

As an IoT Segment Marketer at 3M, you will be responsible for driving market growth and activation in the Consumer Electronics IoT segment. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs, trends, and competition in the IoT market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute segment marketing plans and campaigns to drive sales growth and market share expansion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, portfolio marketing, activation marketing, digital marketing, and application engineering, to identify new opportunities and develop penetration plans.
  • Provide market insights and recommendations to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Work closely with sales teams to inspire new customer coverages, new application exploration, and product promotions.
  • Be the voice of the customer back to GCA and global teams, providing insights on customer needs and segment trends.

Requirements:

  • More than five years of experience managing Consumer Electronics market needs.
  • Experience in segment marketing, business development, or portfolio marketing.
  • Ability to interpret market research and market insights in concert with additional data and business results.
  • Demonstrated segment experience and ability to leverage knowledge in different markets approach.
  • Understanding customer insights and ability to transfer them to develop activation campaigns.
  • Marketing business experience, creating and implementing campaigns and marketing programs considering brand owner, components maker, converters, and channel partners' needs.
  • Experience understanding different go-to-market models.
  • Ability to lead across functions with excitement and enthusiasm and bring the team/organization along on the journey.
