Job Summary
Oversees the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food preparation. Responsible for managing staff, maintaining inventory, and controlling expenses.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement kitchen policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Marriott International standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage supplies, and control expenses to meet budget goals.
- Collaborate with chefs, servers, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food preparation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 4-year degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or related field preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in kitchen management, culinary arts, or related field.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
