Role Overview

The primary objective of this role is to execute operational tasks that ensure a safe and highly reliable travel experience, aligning with our brand values and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Duties

  • Conduct aircraft maintenance for Cathay Group and third-party aircraft under the guidance of an Aircraft Engineer.
  • Perform both local and international operational support tasks as needed.
  • Assist in monitoring the performance of third-party service providers, addressing any operational challenges promptly.
  • Support contingency strategies and manage unexpected operational needs such as diversions and aircraft type changes.
  • Carry out maintenance and servicing for ground support equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
  • Contribute to quality assurance processes and comply with audits from relevant authorities.
  • Manage station documentation and ensure all records are current and valid.
  • Adhere to local Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
  • Undertake additional reasonable tasks as assigned, including involvement in non-operational projects.

Performance and Improvement

  • Ensure understanding and implementation of annual performance goals.
  • Participate in performance evaluations and discuss career progression with supervisors.
  • Engage in station meetings to maintain effective communication.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through teamwork and innovative practices.

Emergency Response

  • Fulfill responsibilities related to emergency and crisis management as required.
Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Possession of a college degree or higher.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated understanding of aircraft maintenance operations.
  • Willingness to undergo necessary training in safety, company procedures, and human factors.
