Job Summary
The Chief Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing all engineering and maintenance operations at Marriott International. This includes managing the physical plant, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal effectiveness, efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and manage a team of engineers and maintenance staff to ensure the smooth operation of facilities and equipment.
• Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment and facilities.
• Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of funds and materials.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in engineering and maintenance operations, preferably in a hospitality or related industry.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
