Job Overview

Position Summary:

  • Financial and Credit Risk Assessment: Analyze the financial stability and credit reliability of customers within the global WD customer network. This includes scrutinizing financial documents, performing research, and utilizing analytical expertise to evaluate potential risks.
  • Risk Management Expertise: Serve as a knowledgeable resource on strategies for risk reduction, including credit insurance, letters of credit, factoring, and short-term financing for customer risk portfolios.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with WD teams in Sales, Sales Operations, Pricing, and across all segments of the WD supply chain to understand customer engagement strategies and requirements. Contribute to the development of customer incentive and marketing initiatives that drive WD's revenue growth and support new product launches.
  • External Client Engagement: Foster strong relationships with end customers to improve process efficiencies in the Order to Cash cycle. Address conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation matters with clients.
  • Cash Conversion Process Optimization: Ensure precise cash flow forecasting for WD and streamline financial operations. Manage customer collection disputes and reconciliations, including compliance responsibilities and data analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (BS or MBA).
  • Exceptional communication abilities, with a talent for influencing and negotiating with diverse stakeholders (both local/global and internal/external).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the capacity to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Identify supply chain challenges, ascertain root causes, and implement solutions for significant customer accounts.
  • Proactive approach: skilled at navigating challenges, embracing risks, and making informed decisions.
  • Basic knowledge of financial statements and financial processes.
  • Experience with customer incentive and marketing strategies is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and data analytics.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Quote to Cash, Accounts Receivable, Operational Finance, or Banking Commercial Services.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Credit Analysis Management.
