Middle School Music Educator

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Music Educator to join our vibrant educational community. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for music education, experience in leading student bands, and the ability to inspire middle school students in both classroom learning and musical performance.

Key Responsibilities:- Teach general music classes to middle school students, incorporating a variety of musical styles and theories.
- Lead and direct the middle school band program, ensuring the band program meets both curricular and extracurricular goals.
- Plan and conduct rehearsals for the band, ensuring students are prepared for performances such as concerts, school events, and local competitions.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive and engaging curriculum for music and band classes that meets the needs of students with varying levels of musical ability.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their musical talents and creativity.
- Collaborate with other music and performing arts staff to organize school-wide performances and events.
- Maintain the inventory of musical instruments and manage the maintenance and procurement of equipment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A four-year degree from an accredited university.
- A Bachelor of Education, PGCE, Teaching license: QTS, national/state teaching license/certificate or equivalent.
- Three years of experience teaching in a bilingual school, international school, or government/state school.
Aristotle Teachers offers a highly competitive salary package, including:
- A base yearly salary of $60,000 - $72,000 per year.
