Job Summary

Celestica is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer, Electrical Design to develop new electrical systems and circuits for various applications. The successful candidate will research system ideas, create plans, and capture them in schematics and system specifications. They will test, simulate, validate, and qualify their systems, making adjustments as needed. The Senior Lead Engineer will provide support throughout the manufacturing process and work with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and high-quality product development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions in multiple domains.
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of engineers.
  • Review, interpret, and negotiate customer requirements and specifications.
  • Deploy strategic programs and coordinate site-wide deployment efforts.
  • Proactively promote industry best practices.
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and partners.
  • Design, modify, and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs.
  • Test, simulate, and measure the performance of systems.
  • Keep up-to-date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations.
  • Solve complex problems.
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Analyze and interpret data and information.
  • Recommend modifications for systems.
  • Create reports and documentation.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
