Lead Engineer, Electronic Development Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electronics Hardware Development Manager to join our Grooming & Beauty Engineering team at Philips. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic modules for our PH products, primarily for the Grooming & Beauty business.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic modules for high-volume consumer products, including battery charging systems, step-down & step-up converters, and SMPS.
- Translate technical requirements into product concepts and electronic designs, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and user-friendliness.
- Manage product requirements, lead DFMEA's, and follow the v-model methodology to ensure high-quality products.
- Ensure proper documentation for developed products and followed processes.
- Design and test modules or components to ensure reliable, efficient, and user-friendly products.
- Understand and communicate boundaries of proposed designs and architecture on the electronic product roadmap.
- Draw up personal schedules and report on progress, contributing to the planning process of hardware and/or other subsystems.
- Contribute to the estimation of required development effort and runtime resources.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in electronics hardware engineering, with a minimum of 5-10 years of working experience in the field of electronics product development.
- Preferably, multiple years of working experience in developing hardware for high-volume consumer products and a thorough understanding of modern hardware engineering tools, methods, and processes.
- Experience with CFD analysis, FEA (Ansys), and/or other analytical software programs.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with different (international) people.
- Pro-active attitude and high-quality mindset towards assignments.
- Technical expertise in your area, able to develop own ideas and stand up for their feasibility.
