Role Overview

HSBC Personal Wealth Planning is a key strategic business of HSBC Group, pioneering in China with innovative digital solutions. Our team provides tailored wealth planning and protection services to individuals and families, empowering them to achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Personal Wealth Planners to implement customer and sales strategies, driving business growth and excellence.
  • Develop and deliver sales coaching, sales skills seminars, and product/proposition knowledge engagements to enhance team performance.
  • Build and maintain a customer-oriented team culture, role-modeling quality sales delivery and best-in-class customer relationship management practices.
  • Establish strong activity and performance management expectations for the team, identifying and addressing performance gaps, and providing performance updates to top management.
  • Help team members identify and capture investment & insurance (I&I) business opportunities, leveraging financial planning methodology to ensure fair outcomes for all types of customers.
  • Cultivate a collaborative culture within the team and across the broader organisation, ensuring self and team activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and meet HSBC standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • University degree or above in business administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-8 years sales, customer relationship management, and team-leading experience in the financial services industry.
  • Strong coaching skills and business acumen.
  • Proved to deliver and drive outstanding customer experience (ideally in financial planning) and building lasting customer relationships.
  • Highly motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively and independently.
  • Possess the ability to apply entrepreneurial and commercial thinking to deliver team's business performance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and basic knowledge of English.
