Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage internal and external stakeholders, including employees, customers, and media.
  • Collaborate with the regional and global communications team to coordinate and support the implementation of global, regional, or local communication programs and processes in China.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal partners and stakeholders across all levels of the organization to gather information, support internal communications, and ensure alignment with the company's strategy and priorities.
  • Lead and supervise brand and message application and alignment in the country, supporting activities that promote and strengthen the company's image and reputation.
  • Develop quality written and visual engaging content for key internal channels and tools, including intranet articles, emails, videos, executive messages, briefing documents, announcements, presentations, talking points, newsletters, fact sheets, reports, and scripts.
  • Supervise, create, and maintain communication materials and channels, including WeChat, to support Bunge's communication efforts, internally and externally.
  • Monitor media activity, manage the media landscape in China, including building contacts with key media and journalists, identifying media opportunities, drafting press releases, and aligning with regional and global communications.
  • Support crisis and issues communication, in cooperation with China Corporate Affairs and in alignment with Global and regional crisis plans and procedures.
  • Participate in key projects to support organizational change, proactively identifying and delivering communication opportunities.
  • Create and maintain materials to assist local managers in their community and industry affairs efforts and promote their contributions to appropriate channels.
Requirements:
  • A Communications degree and 7-10 years of experience in a communications role within a global matrix organization, handling large, complex projects and programs.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and delivering end-to-end communication strategies within a wide range of sectors and services.
  • Chinese speaker with proven English proficiency (near native level). Other languages are valued.
