Job Title: Communications Specialist

Join Garrett Advancing Motion as a Communications Specialist and play a vital role in supporting the development of digital assets, managing platforms, and driving employee engagement.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist to join our team at Garrett Advancing Motion. As a key member of our Hometown Solutions development team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing global internal communication strategies, managing digital assets, and driving employee engagement through social media and other channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement global internal communication strategies to engage employees and promote company initiatives.
  • Manage digital assets, including social media channels, to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
  • Collaborate with the marketing communications team to develop and execute internal social media strategies.
  • Own internal communications events, including Town Hall meetings, annual dinners, and Diversity & Inclusive activities.
  • Drive local CSR and sustainability initiatives to promote company values and goals.
  • Use rich metrics tracking to identify key trends and adapt digital and internal tools to increase impact on employees.
  • Work closely with the China Communications Team on corporate projects with integrated approaches.
  • Provide marketing intelligence reports to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Excellent English/Chinese writing skills and graphic creative ability.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as journalism, communications, marketing, or HR.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in communications and marketing.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and with minimum supervision.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and creative mindset, with a willingness to learn and make a difference.
  • Strong Microsoft Office tools skills, intranet publishing, and video production capabilities.
