Job Summary

As a key member of the Marriott International team, the Chef de Cuisine is responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our restaurant. This includes ensuring the quality, consistency, and production of our kitchen, as well as managing all food-related functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement menus, purchasing, and staffing strategies to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations, as well as Marriott International's quality standards.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high levels of guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 4 years of experience in the culinary industry preferred.
  • 2-year degree in Culinary Arts or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of success in a leadership role, with a focus on quality, service, and team development.
