Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Commercial Head to lead our Performance Materials business in China. As a key member of our regional leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing overall commercial initiatives and driving outsized growth across Greater China.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, improve market share, and enhance profitability.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Engage with end users to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Provide sales teams with the necessary tools, resources, and support to achieve their targets.
- Implement and track metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives.
- Lead and influence key stakeholders to align sales strategies and collaborate effectively to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required, MBA is advantageous.
- Minimum 8-10 years of sales and management experience in the B2B industry within matrixed and sizable organizations, preferably in industries such as automotive or electronics.
- Proven success in sales and business development resulting in top-line growth, particularly in specialty business sectors.
- Results-driven with a focus on swift execution of objectives.
- Proficient in a matrix organization with excellent communication and influencing skills, both verbal and written English proficiency.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to champion and challenge fast response solution development.
- Excellent organizational & people management skills, with the passion to build collaborative and high-performing teams.
- P&L experience is advantageous.
- Above all, demonstrate a high level of integrity and ethics.
