Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline AND a minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, or consulting, or equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field AND at least 12 years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, or consulting, or a Master's Degree in a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • At least 6 years of experience leading technical projects.
  • Technical certification in Cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google, security certifications).

Responsibilities

Customer Focus

  • Analyze and assess industry trends, gather insights from customers and partners, and align architecture and digital transformation solutions with business outcomes. Act as the voice of the customer by providing feedback and insights to internal teams to enhance products and services.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with customer and partner architects, C-level technical decision-makers, and business stakeholders. Guide technical decision-makers and facilitate collaboration between technical and business leaders.
  • Foster a customer-centric approach within the team, ensuring efficient delivery and a seamless customer experience. Proactively address potential customer dissatisfaction and unmet needs.
  • Engage in active listening and constructive dialogue with customers, encouraging them to explore alternative solutions and architectures.

Business Impact

  • Lead the team in managing complex situations for strategic customers in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Identify and mitigate business and technical risks while adhering to quality assurance standards.
  • Manage intricate customer relationships, addressing technical blockers and facilitating regular reviews to enhance consumption and solution implementation.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of Microsoft products and services to propose innovative solutions that drive customer consumption and align with account management priorities.

Technical Leadership

  • Leverage market insights to guide leadership in defining a global vision and driving technical readiness within the team. Mentor less experienced colleagues by sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Lead virtual teams in addressing technological challenges and sharing strategic insights across Microsoft. Participate in external technical community events to enhance recognition of Microsoft solutions.
  • Identify gaps in existing intellectual property and processes, driving improvements that enable scalable solutions across customers.
