Automated Parking Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Automated Parking Software Engineer to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Group China Ltd. in Shanghai, China.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and integrating ADAS parking algorithms, with a strong focus on state machine design, trajectory planning, and vehicle control for Automated Parking Assist, Remote Parking, and Memory Parking.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and optimize algorithms for parking trajectories and controller performance, particularly for China-specific scenarios.
- Analyze and evaluate system requirements for adjacent software modules and derive new algorithmic concepts.
- Perform simulation and in-vehicle testing and tuning for performance optimization.
- Collaborate with the ADAS system team to analyze system requirements and provide technical feedback.
- Debug and fix feature issues, track issue status, and validate fixed algorithms through SIL/HIL and vehicle testing.
- Master's degree in Automotive, Electronics, Control Science and Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or Computing Sciences Engineering.
- Fluent English language skills.
- At least 2 years of work experience in AD/ADAS software development, with hands-on experience in parking-related functions.
- Familiarity with state-of-the-art planning and control algorithms in autonomous driving.
- Strong skills in C/C++ programming and scripting languages, with experience in large software system development.
- Experience with source code management, unit testing, code review, and issue tracking systems.
