About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Manager to join our DeviceOps Planning team at Amazon Innovation Center (Shenzhen) Company Limited Shanghai Branch - O93. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting new product builds, product ramp, supply availability, and competitive sourcing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate production simulation to support build decisions and production forecast updates;
  • Develop and manage master production schedules and available-to-ship schedules;
  • Build plan management, monitor assigned programs' build plans to best support production forecast;
  • Purchase order management, monitor PO readiness to the CM, manage shipment commitments from CM;
  • Daily monitor CM production, understand overall production status vs production forecast in the factory;
  • Act as the primary liaison between the CM and downstream team, US planning team, perform timely escalation for their programs' shipment interruptions.
About the Team

The overall responsibility of this role is to balance product supply to consumer demand, ensuring we have the right products in the right place at the right time while enabling the factory to operate efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree holder;
  • Minimum 6 years of working experience in supply chain, of which a minimum of 2-3 years of planning equivalent experience;
  • Good data analytical skills and attention to details;
  • Good communication/presentation skill (written and verbal in both Mandarin and English);
  • Experienced user of MS Office, specifically Excel;
  • Self-driven, able to work independently with little supervision;
  • Highly organized, being able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced, ever-changing environment and handle multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree/higher level education;
  • Experience in OEM business, CE industry;
  • Experience in supporting supply chain related system development/implementation projects;
  • Experience on order fulfillment, production planning, and project management;
  • Experience on Tableau report, data programming, SQL, etc.
