Executive Leader for Manufacturing Operations

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Leader to lead our client's manufacturing plant in Shanghai. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, with a focus on production, quality control, and safety management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing daily plant operations, emphasizing output, product quality, and timely delivery
- Overseeing the supply chain, including raw material importation, stock management, and customs clearance
- Leading and developing a high-performing team of department managers and supervisors
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships
- Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with legal regulations
- Acting as the main point of contact with local government agencies
- Managing the P&L and executing the annual budget, including capital expenditures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
- Proven leadership experience as a plant manager or similar role in manufacturing operations
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin
- Strong understanding of local regulatory compliance for plant operations
- Solid knowledge of business and management concepts (budgeting, planning, cost control, KPIs)
- In-depth knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, inventory, and stewardship procedures
- High sense of duty, team collaboration spirit, and integrity
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Current or previous certification in safety production knowledge and management ability, issued by the Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau
- Previous work experience in a multinational company
