Job Overview:



We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Operational Risk and Control Specialist.



The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of operational risk management and control principles, with experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing controls to mitigate risks.



This is a key role within the Business Control team, reporting directly to the Head of Business Control. The primary focus of this position will be to provide assurance on the effectiveness of operational risk management and control processes across the organization.



About the Role:



This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work closely with various stakeholders, including business leaders, risk owners, and control owners, to identify and assess operational risks and implement effective controls to mitigate these risks.



You will also be responsible for providing guidance and support to risk owners and control owners in developing and implementing their risk and control strategies.



The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.



Responsibilities:




  • Conduct risk assessments to identify operational risks and recommend controls to mitigate these risks
  • Develop and maintain risk and control dashboards to provide visibility into operational risk exposure
  • Collaborate with risk owners and control owners to develop and implement risk and control strategies
  • Provide guidance and support to risk owners and control owners on risk and control matters
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of operational risk management and control processes


Requirements:




  • 5+ years of experience in operational risk management or a related field
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, risk mitigation, and control implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Experience working with various stakeholders, including business leaders, risk owners, and control owners
  • Certifications such as CIA, CISA, FRM, or CFE are highly desirable
