We are currently seeking a skilled High School History Educator to join our team at eChinaCareers.

About the Role

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lecture Delivery: Organize and deliver engaging History and Geography-related lectures to High School students.
  • Student Evaluation: Evaluate students' class work and assignments.
  • Material Preparation: Prepare classroom and coursework materials, homework assignments, and handouts.
  • Record Keeping: Record and maintain accurate student attendance records and grades.
  • Teaching Planning: Develop teaching plans and lesson plans in line with the provided syllabus.
  • Student Guidance: Guide or coach students on extra-curricular activities.
  • Parent Communication: Communicate with parents when necessary.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Secondary license or certification (TEFL/CELTA) for teaching English, with a preference for a master's degree in History, Geography, or other social studies-related subjects.
  • Teaching Experience: Successful experience teaching in an international setting, with experience working with High School students and the US AP curriculum preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and other teaching staff.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in stressful situations and under pressure.
  • Soft Skills: A positive attitude and good listening, planning, and organizational skills.

  • Salary: Monthly salary of 16,000 to 24,000 RMB before tax, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
