Job Overview

As a key member of the IQVIA team, you will provide critical support to the business units by performing routine accounting services. You will work under supervision to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and within deadlines, in accordance with IQVIA Finance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Sarbanes-Oxley Controls, and Unit Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Essential Functions

  • Input data accurately and efficiently, adhering to SOPs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Communicate effectively with employees and other departments to request missing information and resolve data issues.
  • File and maintain accurate records and documents.
  • Identify, track, and report accounting data accurately, and escalate non-standard issues to line management.
  • Provide assistance to team members, including guidance to junior team members, to ensure the group meets all SLAs and targets.
  • Participate in teams handling various routine tasks within the accounting department.
  • Prepare and provide standard and ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Verify that appropriate approvals are obtained for accounting purposes.
  • Flag problems with existing procedures and systems, and suggest improvements.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Four years of finance experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Knowledge of Peoplesoft Finance modules and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Attention to detail, accurate data entry skills, and the ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and managers.
