Technical Expertise Sought

Intralox China is currently seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer to support Sales and Customers in China. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert who can influence value-added ideas and help customers achieve their goals in a multi-cultural, industry-focused, teamwork environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical evaluation of sales opportunities, reviewing application data and determining product suitability.
  • Promoting Intralox solutions to clients technically alongside field sales.
  • Taking technical lead on consulting and training customers on Intralox conveyor design guidelines.
  • Evaluation and optimization of conveyance and preparation of guidelines for conveyor retrofits.
  • Assisting with after-sale activities by applying technical skills on installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Assisting in technical audits.
  • Working together with application engineers worldwide and other team members on opportunities or resolving issues.
  • Attending trade-shows when necessary as an Intralox product specialist.
Requirements:
  • Native Mandarin speaker, fluent in English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering/technology field.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in application engineering or similar role.
  • A self-managed and self-motivated individual with strong ownership and commitment who excels in a global team environment.
  • Ability to travel frequently throughout mainland China.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with great attention to details.
  • Knowledge/experience of conveyor systems in tire and automotive industries is a plus.
  • Ability to create drawings in AutoCAD or similar.
  • Flexible working schedule, available to support colleagues and customers after regular business hours.
  • Confident presentation skill for medium to large groups of customers.
  • Customer-oriented with problem-solving skills.
