ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Foster a culture of safety excellence while ensuring disciplined operations in maintenance, facility, and project management.
  • Enhance the capabilities of personnel and the organization, focusing on succession planning and talent development.
  • Ensure high equipment reliability to support production efficiency while managing costs effectively.
  • Oversee capital project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and maintaining budgetary control.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead health, safety, and environmental management for engineering and maintenance activities.
  • Implement effective health, safety, and environmental measures to achieve compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and coordinate the annual capital expenditure plan, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Establish and enhance maintenance systems and preventive strategies to boost equipment reliability.
  • Execute project management processes in accordance with established protocols.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to engineering team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • Manage departmental budgets effectively.
  • Oversee performance management of maintenance service contractors and vendors.
  • Generate monthly maintenance reports and manage key performance indicators.
  • Drive improvements in overall equipment effectiveness by minimizing downtime.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT:

  • Collaborate with teams to enhance safety, efficiency, and quality in production.
  • Manage mechanical integration processes.
  • Facilitate communication with global technical teams.
  • Provide technical support for equipment and production innovation projects.
  • Assist in the implementation of 5S and Total Productive Maintenance activities.

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, or related engineering fields.

Technical Skills:

  • Project management certification (PMP) is preferred.
  • Strong background in maintenance and project management within the chemical sector.
  • Ability to provide robust technical support to teams.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance.

Other Experience Preferred:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience; experience in foreign ventures is advantageous.
  • At least 5 years of experience in maintenance and project management in the chemical industry.
