KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Guarantee high equipment reliability to support production efficiency while minimizing costs, with a focus on reducing downtime and maintenance expenses.
- Oversee capital project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with corporate engineering objectives and delivering projects on time and within budget.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead health, safety, and environmental management for engineering and maintenance activities, actively participating in site performance improvements.
- Ensure the implementation of effective health, safety, and environmental measures to meet compliance and regulatory standards.
- Develop and manage the annual capital expenditure plan in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring flawless project execution.
- Establish and refine maintenance systems and preventive strategies to enhance equipment reliability.
- Implement project management processes, adhering to established protocols and developing site-specific procedures.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering team members, facilitating performance evaluations and development plans.
- Manage departmental budgets effectively, ensuring financial accountability.
- Oversee contractor and vendor performance, optimizing engineering resources for safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Prepare monthly maintenance reports and manage key performance indicators.
- Focus on improving overall equipment effectiveness by minimizing downtime and enhancing maintenance metrics.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT:
- Collaborate with teams to enhance safety, efficiency, quality, and innovation in production.
- Manage mechanical integration processes.
- Facilitate communication with global technical teams.
- Provide technical support for equipment and new production initiatives.
- Assist in the implementation of 5S and Total Productive Maintenance activities.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, or related engineering fields.
Technical Skills:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Extensive experience in maintenance and project management within the chemical sector.
- Strong technical support capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Preferred Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience, with preference for international exposure.
- At least 5 years of experience in maintenance and project management in the chemical industry.
