Technical Service Lead

Lubrizol Corporation, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Lead to lead technical service and application development activities in GTC and South-East Asia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to Estane customers in GTC and Southeast Asia, identifying emerging opportunities, and developing application development plans and platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Define and prioritize technical service requests, allocate resources, and ensure sufficient technical support to customers in GTC and Southeast Asia.
- Create understanding of relevant applications, Thermoplastics TPU processing/converting technologies, and generate technical value propositions.
- Develop project plans, prioritize projects, and manage execution in line with Estane's project guidelines.
- Communicate project progress to stakeholders and address potential gaps and barriers.
- Translate application requirements into product specifications and identify potential applications and marketing opportunities.
- Position Estane products in the market through branding and promotion campaigns.
- Maintain awareness of competitive products and technologies.
- Contribute to implementing technology development strategy and ensure IP strategy aligns with business needs.
- Provide scientific and technical support to manufacturing/operations.
- Develop people through timely feedback and appraisal, and provide leadership in mentoring TS&AD engineers.
- Master's degree or above in Polymers, Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related subjects.
- 10+ years of polymer application and product development experience, with at least 5 years of people management experience.
