Position Overview:

As a pivotal member of our team at KCC KONE Elevators Co. Ltd, you will take on the role of a DevOps Manager, where your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our operational strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and nurture the operations team through effective technical mentorship.
  • Engage actively in the transformation and establishment of robust DevOps engineering methodologies within the organization.
  • Contribute significantly to our vision of proactive operations and excellence in technical execution.
  • Collaborate closely with global and local DevOps teams to refine, standardize, and enhance our DevOps practices and processes.
  • Work alongside your team to ensure high availability and operational efficiency of our solutions by driving continuous improvements in application and infrastructure monitoring.
  • Assist your team in their ongoing development of application and infrastructure expertise.
  • Deliver ongoing insights into operational efficiency to management and stakeholders by developing automated data collection and metrics dashboards.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical operations roles within complex projects or solutions.
  • Proficient understanding and hands-on experience with:
    • Utilizing popular PaaS/IaaS/SaaS services from leading public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, or Google Cloud.
    • Establishing and managing CI/CD toolchains (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, or similar) in extensive projects.
    • Implementing infrastructure-as-code toolchains (e.g., AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
    • Configuring modern monitoring tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
  • Prior experience in managing large-scale production systems in an operational context.
  • Familiarity with agile principles and methodologies.
  • Experience in software development is advantageous.
  • Leadership experience in team settings is a plus.
