Job Summary


Corning is a leading developer, manufacturer, and global supplier of scientific laboratory products. We are seeking a Pricing Specialist to provide pricing support in the Asia region for Corning Life Science's pricing function as it relates to contract operations.



Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and refine pricing contract processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform pricing research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Process and administer tier dealer price and direct quotes to ensure accurate and timely pricing.
  • Support annual pricing, special pricing, and regional pricing analysis to inform pricing strategy.
  • Monitor pricing and carry out pricing rules to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in defining pricing rules and policies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor, police, and educate sales reps on pricing policies and rules to ensure compliance.
  • Support pricing strategy setup and deployment to be aligned with product line strategy.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Open to new graduates. Prefer 1+ year of experience with Customer Distributor interactions and/or pricing processes experience and/or finance experience.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Overall proficiency with MS Office 2010 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
  • PeopleSoft Supply Chain proficiency is a plus.
  • Salesforce skill proficiency is a plus.
  • Power BI skill proficiency is a plus.
  • SAP skill proficiency is a plus.
  • Able to create metrics and maintain reports.
  • Ability to lead and train others on the pricing process and provide additional value to projects as necessary.
