Position Overview
As a key player in our procurement team, the Packaging Procurement Lead will be responsible for shaping and executing the sourcing strategies for the Primary Packaging category across our personal care and self-care sectors. This role is pivotal in ensuring that we achieve significant cost savings while adhering to our organizational policies and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive Category Strategy for the Primary Packaging sector:
- Conduct thorough analysis to define category profiles, including risk assessments and supply base evaluations.
- Identify and benchmark best practices to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Formulate strategic plans that align with regional and global business objectives and financial targets.
- Establish effective P2P and Buying Channel strategies, focusing on automation and channel efficiency.

• Lead the execution of the Packaging category strategy and realization of savings:
- Conduct both internal and external analyses to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with various business functions to optimize specifications and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and drive contract implementation.
- Accountable for delivering savings in line with established targets.

• Collaborate with a cross-functional Sourcing Team throughout the strategic sourcing process:
- Engage with global, regional, and local procurement teams as necessary.
- Facilitate supplier selection and lead negotiations based on factual data.
- Share best practices within the procurement organization.
- Oversee RfX processes, supplier selection, and contract finalization in partnership with legal teams.

• Manage relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders:
- Maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers, monitoring their performance against established guidelines.
- Lead initiatives for supplier development and performance enhancement.
- Identify opportunities for contract improvements and renegotiations.

• Foster collaboration with key stakeholders:
- Provide insights on volume, specifications, and pricing to support smart consumption policies.
- Act as a point of escalation for category-related issues, ensuring alignment with global procurement policies.
- Work closely with the global Category Manager to enhance budget contributions and resource allocation.

Qualifications:
• Academic Credentials: A relevant university degree is essential, with a recognized procurement qualification being advantageous.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of substantial professional experience in the relevant category is preferred.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required.
