Job Description

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank that aims to finance the infrastructure for tomorrow with sustainability at its core. With operations in Beijing since January 2016, AIIB has grown to 109 approved members worldwide and boasts a capitalization of USD100 billion, along with an AAA rating from major international credit rating agencies. Through collaborative efforts with partners, AIIB meets clients' needs by unlocking new capital and investing in infrastructure that promotes regional connectivity, green technology, and efficiency.

This role will be part of the Loan Administration Unit under the Office of the Controller, working closely with front office project teams and participating in planning for disbursement arrangements throughout the investment project cycle. Key responsibilities include ensuring consistency with fiduciary assessments and compliance with relevant guidelines and procedures, reviewing and approving disbursements in a timely manner, and assisting the CTL Front Office with technical loan operation matters for private and sovereign sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure comprehensive consideration of critical fiduciary aspects during project preparation.
  • Set up new deals in financing management systems after signing and process relevant transactions in a timely and accurate manner throughout project implementation.
  • Assist in reviewing and instructing disbursements in accordance with projects' legal agreements and the Bank's disbursement policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with related departments to maintain accurate project profiles and take timely and appropriate actions.
  • Assist in the development, enhancement, and implementation of financing management systems.
  • Assist in reviewing and monitoring relevant transactions, ensuring timely and accurate recording of accounting entries in the financing management system.
  • Assist in reviewing and processing billing statements and loan repayments in line with the Bank's debt servicing policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile with relevant parties regarding guarantee exposure.


Requirements:
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in non-sovereign operations back office gained from positions with financial institutions.
- In-depth knowledge of various financing products administration over the full life cycle of projects.
- Self-motivated with excellent internal and external relationship-building skills to ensure seamless processes.
- Proven ability to work efficiently within teams and communicate effectively for results.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related fields.

Estimated Salary: USD80,000 - USD120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
