Job Title: Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager, Fintech

HSBC is seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our Fintech team. As a key member of our compliance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our Fintech business operates in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Compliance Control Framework for the Fintech Servco, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Fin Tech and Pinnacle business teams, to build and maintain a robust compliance structure.
  • Provide expert advice on Compliance issues and liaise with senior management to develop strategies for managing Compliance risks.
  • Exercise risk steward challenge and act as an independent trusted advisor in governance forums.
  • Stay up-to-date with key local regulatory changes and develop policies and frameworks to manage these changes.
  • Engage with regulators on behalf of the Fintech Company and handle all related enquiries, including regulatory inspections and audits.
  • Lead the Fin Tech Compliance team, establishing guiding principles and strategic operational objectives.
Requirements:
  • Seasoned Compliance professional with a legal or formal accountancy qualification or professional background in a relevant risk or audit discipline.
  • Specialist knowledge in Insurance, fund sales, Wealth and FinTech related regulations in Mainland China.
  • Compelling communication and people skills, with strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and persuade.
  • Significant leadership experience and an experienced strategic thinker.
  • Ability to develop practical, cost-effective solutions to complex issues.
  • Tech-savvy, energetic, proactive, and positive mindset with a can-do attitude and strong ownership of tasks.
