Job Title: Operational Policy Officer

Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank AIIB is seeking a highly skilled Operational Policy Officer to join its Strategy, Policy and Budget (SPB) Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, updating, and monitoring the implementation of the Bank's operation policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review project monitoring reports to ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures.
  • Provide comments and suggestions for project improvements and quality enhancement.
  • Monitor the implementation of the Bank's operational policies and procedures across the portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain systems, models, and processes to capture data and facilitate decision-making.
  • Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports on portfolio performance and quality enhancement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify areas for quality enhancement and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Enhance the Bank's reporting capabilities and improve existing automated reports using the latest technology.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned, working independently or as part of a wider team.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as infrastructure development, economics, finance, or business.
  • Minimum 5 years of operational experience in a multilateral development bank, preferably in a quality enhancement function.
  • Excellent understanding of MDB operations, processes, and relevant operational policies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and reporting packages such as Cognos, Tableau, and/or PowerBI.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to provide complex analytics and presentations.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member, under time pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
