Financial Operations Manager

The incumbent will primarily assist in the management of finance operations and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing operational controls based on comprehensive risk assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational standards
  • Facilitating an efficient reconciliation and substantiation process that aligns with financial governance and business requirements
  • Evaluating Target Operating Models (TOMs) to confirm that control frameworks are effective, resilient, and uniformly applied across various operational streams and jurisdictions
  • Identifying potential enhancements and spearheading the execution of control improvements
  • Engaging with Financial Systems Support, Systems Development, and Project Management initiatives
  • Coordinating Internal Audit activities within the finance division, providing precise requirements, detailed project plans, and timelines to relevant personnel, while recommending corrective measures and tracking their implementation
  • Managing additional risk and control tasks as assigned by the Finance Head

To excel in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in the financial sector, with a strong background in Insurance and Fund Sales considered advantageous
  • Relevant certifications such as CICPA or AMAC (基金从业资格) are preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, extensive experience, and proficiency in financial control and operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Capacity to thrive under pressure while managing competing priorities
  • A collaborative team player, skilled in motivating colleagues and working independently
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Self-driven and proactive
